Anime 86 EIGHTY-SIX is a brilliantly animated with an intriguing tale, distinctively created characters, and a plethora of amazing sequences and moments that will keep you enthralled.
This anime delves deeply into the oppression brought about by racism and the cruelty of war. Of course, underneath this post-apocalyptic atmosphere lurks the battle of life, as well as a dash of romance.
The animation, produced by A-1 Pictures, is outstanding. 86 EIGHTY-SIX brilliantly illustrates the beauty and madness of war. The colors used, the backgrounds and environments, the movement of the characters and the mechas they drive, and the character designs are all excellent.
Hiroyuki Sawano also composes the music. From the opening and outro, to the soundtrack that plays throughout the anime in various sad and joyous times, it always manages to perfectly suit the events that occurred in the anime at that time. Its add nuance to emotional scenes.

The Republic of San Magnolia manufactures an unmanned combat drone engine known as the “Juggernaut.” They did so in reaction to an attack by the Giad Empire’s “Legion,” an autonomous robotic drone.
However, unmanned drones exist only in a technical sense. They were actually piloted by 86. They were people who were deemed lower to humans in the Republic of San Magnolia and were treated as though they were just tools.
Shin, the captain of the Spearhead Squadron, which consists of the Eighty-six, is motivated to fulfill his own secret purpose. As a result, he continues to fight in vain on the battlefield, where only death awaits him.
On the other side, Vladilena Milize or Major Lena were among the few persons who cared about the Eighty-Six and treated them as humans.
2. 86 EIGHTY-SIX Season 2 (2021)

The second cour of 86 EIGHTY-SIX.
Shin and the other surviving Spearhead Squadron members began their journey inside Legion territory after waving farewell to Lena.
They suffered many hardships there before being rescued by the Federal Republic of Giad, a reformed state that gave them a second chance at peace. But it wasn’t long until the Eighty-Six felt driven to return to the battlefield out of obligation.
Because they had elected to join the military, they gleefully walked back through the gates of hell. They are joined this time by a weird new ally named Frederica Rosenfort. She is a self-assured young lady with exceptional abilities and intelligence far above her years.
That’s the sequence in which you should watch 86 EIGHTY-SIX; we still don’t know when the next season will premiere.
